I tried my hand at smothered pork chops. I was never able to create gravy the way I wanted to. It was always too thick or too watery but I think I finally got it down! Check out the video for step-by-step directions. I eyeball a lot of my seasonings but I have added measurements for anyone that wants them.

Ingredients:

3 center cut pork chops (or any style)

Dry Rub

1tbsp of salt

1tbsp of black pepper

1tsp of Italian seasoning

1tbsp Crushed Red Pepper

1tbsp of paprika

Gravy

1tbsp minced garlic

Half an onion

Half cup of sliced mushrooms

Half a diced tomato

2tbsp olive oil

3 cups of chicken broth

2-3 chopped small bell peppers

3/4 cup of all purpose flour

2 1/2 cups of water
