#Day19- Go With the Flow (Sometimes)

“Go with the flow. Force nothing. Let it happen…..trusting that whichever way it goes it’s for the best.”- Mandy Hale

I am a thinker. While usually that is a good thing sometimes it can cause me to miss out on something great. I over analyze and dissect almost everything that comes across my path. Whether it is a job offer, a kind gesture or relationships, both personal and business wise, I want to know all of the what ifs before they happen.

This summer for me is all about taking risks. I want to just let things happen (to an extent) without worrying about the consequences. I find myself too often afraid to just go with the flow. I can’t say that I am looking forward to this change but I am going to embrace it. One summer of unapologetic trouble coming up!

Often times we find ourselves hoping to following our minds rather than our hearts and we soon realize it's not the case. we get so caught up in our feelings and allow the stream of tears to sway us into making short term decisions that has long term effects. Sometimes we need to take a step back from ourselves and look at things from the outside. Ask ourselves is it worth it? Will I be ok with my decision tomorrow? Once we decide that it is worth losing we need to breathe in release and let go! No looking back, no regrets, just high hopes for the future, less frowns and more smiles. My name is Jordean Matthews and I am a native of Pleasantville, NJ. This blog showcases all things that are me. My life, my talents, my thoughts, my family. It truly displays all the pieces of me.
